My style of portrait photography involves a lot of close up shots, concentrating on the expression of the subject. I use top of the range digital photographic equipment for all portraiture; this enables me to easily change between colour and black and white and gives me the capability to subtly manipulate the images eg removing small skin blemishes or lightening eyes (very effective with close up portraits).
Individual and small group portraits can be accommodated at my home based studio on the outskirts of Southampton, alternatively I am willing to travel to a venue of your choice. Large group/party photo shoots will be taken on location subject to suitability.( Advice on suitable locations can be discussed )
Shoots normally takes between an hour to an hour and a half. I will ask you to bring along changes of outfits to give a variety to your finished images, also some props ( hats etc ) can be very useful.
